This is a very difficult chapter because the people were not obedient to their God and many of the curses listed came upon them. It is hard to think of all the evil that has happened to the Jewish people. However, God chose them to be His people, and with privileges comes responsibility. If they had been obedient, they would have been blessed beyond measure!
